Preparing to leave

Hello Everyone,

This is both a testing post and my first update post.  I have made my flight to Laos for the 24th of January.  After an hour flight from Phoenix to LAX, I will then have an 18 hour flight to Bangkok.  I can enjoy the beauty of the Bangkok airport and then fly 2.5 hours to Luang Prabang or ground zero for the program.  I am busy trying to pack up my Portland life and fit it into my car.  This time now is filled with finding donations and seeing people who I may not see for a long time.  Also trying to persuade them to come and visit.  I have set up a skype account and this blog of course.  This way I will be able to keep people updated on the mussing in Laos.
